Hey, I have xanga....now on to more inportant crap....alot of people ask me what my favorite movies are...so i compiled a list

Ethan’s 50 greatest movies of all time

Note: not liable for any movies I haven’t seen, if you have a problem with the list (I left a movie out that you think should be in there) Either I forgot about that movie, or I don’t like it.

  1. About A Boy- Greatest Movie Ever. No Exception. In fact you tell me a greater and funnier movie, and I’ll tell you how it is not greater than AOB.
  2. The Big Lebowski- This Movie is Flawless, Jeff Bridges is the frikin great
  3. Fight Club- Just Watching fight club makes you 20% more awesome
  4. Band of Brothers- This is the best war documentary, no exception. Worth All the money I spent for this. This series is Nothing short of phenomenal, and if anyone hasn’t seen it, you need to right away.
  5. The Indiana Jones Trilogy- How can it not be my #4, Spielberg and Lucas made them.
  6. Zoolander
  7. V for Vendetta- The reason for #7???- Natalie Portman (Hugo Weaving was good also.)
  8. Pulp Fiction- Quentin Tarantino’s movies are freaking amazing (except reservoir dogs) Pulp Fiction is his best. Samuel L Jackson’s greatest roll in a movie.
  9. SE7EN- This is the first movie that actually scared the piss out of me, but it is such a great film.  Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt are great in this.
  10. Dogma-  *Salma Heyek is one of the hottest women in the world

                     *Hilarious

*Jay and silent Bob are excellent

  1. James Bond- All James Bond movies will fit in 11, (except ‘on her majesties secret service’, and the original ‘Casino Royal’) I still look forward to watching the “Bondathon’s” every Christmas and Thanksgiving.
  2. The Great Escape
  3. the Count of Monty Cristo
  4. Star Wars
  5. M. Night Shyamalan’s Movies-(except for Lady in The Water, which I didn’t see because Roger Ebert gave it a terrible review) His Movies are great, I don’t consider any of them scary.  So don’t get pissed when you don’t get scared.
  6. Saw-This is my favorite horror movie, and the ending is phenomenal.
  7. Donnie Darko- Some people get mad when I put it at #16. I don’t think that just because it is crazy weird, and it has some hidden meaning behind it that you understand after watching it 27 times, it should be #1…….Parker
  8. School of Rock-Jack Black is one of the funniest comedians today, and this movie shows that.  If you like S.O.R. I would strongly recommend listening to Tenacious D.
  9. The Godfather Trilogy- Don’t even argue with me
  10. The Matrix- the movies are excellent but the first one is the only one worthy of #19. they quickly get worse, and I’m not into the whole a cult thing, that it takes watching it 93 times to understand. (though the highway scene in the second one was frikin’ amazing)
  11. Lord of the Rings- I AM ONLY TALKING ABOUT THE FIRST TWO…The Third one SUCKED…it was too damn long and the “ghosts” just pissed me off.
  12. Jurassic park- no need to comment anything. except that Jeff Goldbloom is sweet.
  13. The Edukators- This is a German foreign film that is great.   Disclaimer- I would not suggest trying any of the pranks that were shown in this movie. I was stupid enough, and tried it on one of my good friends, but his parents happened to stumble on it, and I still can’t go hang out at his their house.  I WAS EXTREEMLY LUCKY!
  14. Office Space-this is the movie that taught made me not care, about anything.
  15. Sin City- Clive Owen and Brittney Murphy
  16. The Goonies
  17. Pirates of the Caribbean- I’m serious, I liked it, just think of how crappy the movie would be if Jonny Depp Played the stereotypical Pirate.
  18. Billy Maddison and Happy Gilmore- In Fact any of his movies can be put here
  19. Spaceballs- “
  20. Sleepy Hollow
  21. Lord Of War
  22. Crash- If you haven’t seen it…DO IT
  23. the Shawshank Redemption-Morgan Freeman at his best
  24. Batman Returns- The Only good batman movie
  25. 28 days later- My favorite Zombie Movie
  26. Saving Silverman
  27. The Bourn Movies
  28. Super troopers
  29. The Rock
  30. Sneakers- River is better than Joaquin
  31. The Master and Commander
  32. Young Frankenstein- Mel Brooks is Hilarious
  33. Army Of Darkness- excellent comedy, but you probably should watch the two prequels which are not as good. The Evil Dead 1&2
  34. Old School
  35. National Lampoons Vacation
  36. Rushmore- Bill Murry doesn’t get enough credit
  37. Anchorman
  38. Spiderman
  39. Mission Impossible
  40. Blues Brothers

Side Note- Austin Powers inst on there Because after so many times of hearing people quote it, it is just annoying.

...One hell of a first entry, huh.
